COVID-19 & Respiratory Infections Advice

The practice is open for patient access between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, flu, or another respiratory infection and need medical advice, please contact the practice before attending. A member of the team will advise you on the most appropriate way to access care.

To help protect vulnerable patients and staff, we ask that you:

  • Consider wearing a face covering if you have symptoms of a respiratory infection.
  • Practise good hand hygiene.
  • Avoid attending the surgery unnecessarily if you feel unwell and can safely access advice by telephone.

Most people with COVID-19 or other respiratory infections can manage their symptoms at home with rest, fluids, and over-the-counter remedies. If symptoms are severe, worsening, or causing concern, please contact the practice or NHS 111 Wales

Long COVID

Some people continue to experience symptoms for weeks or months after a COVID-19 infection. This is sometimes referred to as Long COVID.

If you are concerned about ongoing symptoms following COVID-19, please contact the practice for advice and support.
